On Friday, I went with Marga to her dentist appointment in Vitoria, Spain. While there, I was looking for a nearby business, so I asked my iPhone 3G to use its GPS technology to locate me, and then search for a business near me. Except when I asked my iPhone to calculate my location, it said I was in Fortaleza, Brazil. Whah?!?
My location was more or less [42.84,-2.67] and it claimed I was at [-3.72,-38.54]. If it had been a mistake of reversed sign or switched latitude and longitude coordinates, I'd understand how such an error could occur, but that's not what happened. Weird.
