When I predicted, on November 9, 2006, that the future of mobile phones would be a device that also played MP3's, took pictures, played games, organized contacts and email, and, most importantly, be only a screen with no physical buttons, I was expecting it to take several more years before such a product really existed. Yesterday, Apple announced the iPhone. No buttons. No moving parts. Sheer technological beauty. Available in June 2007 for $499.
Tech geeks around the world are drooling over the gadgetry goodness of this device.
