I took some pictures when I walked around town doing some Christmas shopping today. Over the past few weeks, I've smiled every time I passed this hair salon that is on a common grocery route.
Little wood nymphs have taken over this log in the forest and are celebrating the winter season.
They don't seem to notice the huge hairspray bottles in the snow, or maybe they are part of the winter nymph ceremonies.
This perfect Christmas tree is on a rarely traveled corner of town. It's a shame. With some lights and a star, it could look really nice!
I like the juxtaposition of this antique radio (it's probably really an MP3 player or something) next to all the new high tech gadgetry in the hardware store window. This hardware store is on the ground floor of my building.
We're going to Mondragon this evening, so that I can be up early tomorrow morning for my chess tournament, and we'll be returning on Boxing Day morning.
I hope to take some pictures of the holiday light decorations around Colindres next week. Remember that, here in Catholand, Christmas lasts until baby Jesus gets his Myrrh.
May your holidays be joyful.
